February 17, 1921 - January 24, 2022
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, baba, aunt, and dear friend Teenie at the age of 100.
She is survived by her son Jim (Marilyn); daughter Joan (Ron – November 2021); grandchildren, James W. (Stephanie), Krista (Peter), Denny (Christa), Drew; great-grandchildren, Nicholas, Sidney, Wesley, Diesel, and Aeson.
Teenie was predeceased by her loving husband Nicholas on May 8, 1981.
She enjoyed spending her time with her family who loved her very much. Teenie also enjoyed sewing, crafting, and cooking. She made a mean Vinarterta. Teenie was the nicest, most loving person you would have ever met.
A Celebration of Life will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home on Friday, February 4, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Proof of vaccination and government issued identification is required.
We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to the staff at Park Manor Personal Care Home for their compassionate care that they provided to Mom.

I am so saddened to hear about Auntie Teenie. She has been in my life since I was 17. I have so many wonderful memories of her that I will treasure dearly. She was such a kind and loving person always making you feel so loved and cherished. What a blessing to have lived to reach 100 years of age. Please accept my heart felt sympathy. I would never have missed her celebration of life, I resent that governing forces prevented me from attending. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
