VIRGINIA PALLONE
April 6, 1936 - January 19, 2022

It is with deep regret and sadness we announce the passing of, Virginia Pallone (Masi), with her loving family by her side, on January 19, 2022.
Virginia will forever be missed and lovingly remembered by her son, Gregory (Janice) Pallone; and daughter Silvana Pallone; her grandchildren, Matthew (Cassandra) and Nicholas Pallone (Helen), for her warmth and open acceptance. She is also survived by her sisters, Lauretta (Giuliano) Scarpino and Marina Di Nella; in-laws, Ralph Aiello, Franco (Cristina) Pallone, Mario (Carol) Pallone and Diane Pallone. Her large circle of family and friends will miss Virginia's welcoming smile.
Virginia is predeceased by her loving partner and husband, Agostino Pallone (November 16, 2020); parents, Antonio and Maria Masi; sister Fiorina Aiello; and in-laws, Gabriele Di Nella, Gregorio and Rosa Pallone, Tony Pallone and Lorenzo Pallone.
Virginia was born in Amato, Italy as the first of four daughters to Antonio (Tony) and Maria Masi. By age of 17, she was married, and soon after immigrated to Canada in 1953 with her husband to start a new life in Canada. Their son Greg was born in 1957, followed by Silvana in 1961. Virginia was a devoted wife, mother, and an amazing cook for all of her adult life. She formed strong lifelong bonds with friends and extended family who fondly share stories of her kindness and support. Although dementia clouded some of her memories and abilities in recent years, she still had this talent for making friends. In her latest residence, she again formed special bonds with her caregivers and will always be remembered with a smile. Her heart had room for everyone.
Thank you to the special staff at Brightwater Linden-Pointe for their support and care of Virginia.
In lieu of flowers, suggested donations in mom's memory: Canadian Diabetes Association, Canadian Cancer Society and Alzheimer Society of Manitoba.
Due to COVID restrictions, funeral services will be held by invitation only.
