JACQUELINE VALERIE GLOWATSKY (PARKER)
November 10, 1944 - January 17, 2022
It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved Mother, Jacqueline Glowatsky on January 17, 2022 at St. Boniface Hospital.
She is survived by her three sons, Cary (Charlene), Don (Mary) and Jack (Shannon). She was predeceased by her parents, Stanley and Julia Parker; her husband Reginald Glowatsky and siblings, Thelma DeGueldre (Parker), Earl Parker and Harvey Parker. Also mourning her passing are her siblings, Patricia Balasko (Alan), Henry Parker (Janice), Paulette Dillion (Gerald) and Albert Parker. She also leaves numerous nephews, nieces and grandchildren.
She was the eldest of eight children born to Stanley and Julia Parker on November 10, 1944 in Sanford, MB. The family moved to Winnipeg in 1967, were she would go on to graduate from the Misericordia Hospital School of Nursing. She married Reg in 1969 and had three sons, all the while working at various hospitals as a nurse for over 35 years, before retiring from Riverview Hospital.
Mom always believed in helping others and did so by volunteering for the Manitoba Heart and Stroke Foundation, as well as assisting patients on outings even after retirement. She enjoyed time out doors in nature, as well as time spent with her grandchildren. Mom always had the time to listen to what others had to say no matter what the topic or situation without passing judgment.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, February 4, 2022 at Green Acres Funeral Home. Anyone attending must provide proof of vaccination and photo ID. Should you wish to join us virtually, you may do so by accessing the Livestream via Jacqueline's obituary at www.greenacresfuneralhome.com
Thanks to the staff at St. Boniface hospital.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Jacqueline's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Manitoba.

We would like to offer our deepest sympathy to the family. We always enjoyed family get togethers at Jack and Shannon's with Jackie. She had a great sense of humour and always had the biggest smile. She had a special connection with Jaxon that was heartwarming. She will be missed. ❤️ - Posted by: Kim and Garry Yanke (Jack's in-laws ) on: Jan 29, 2022
