It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our mom, baba and great-baba, Stella Iwanciw, on January 25 at her home.
Stella was born on December 25, 1924 and was predeceased by her husband Stanley, son Donny, parents, Dmytro and Mary Hrabec, sisters, Annie and Sonia, brothers, Mike and Steve. She is survived by her sisters, Olga Kiz and Rose Drebit. She leaves to cherish her memory sons, Raymond Evans, Phillip Iwanciw (Geri); daughter Mariann Kasprick (Dan) and her grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, Candice, Crystal, Sabrina, Shawn, Devin, Jordan, Kelsey and Marissa; great-grandchildren, Julia, Jack, Jayden, Harmony, Chloe and Kai; numerous nieces, nephews and their families.
Stella was the best mother and baba anyone could ask for; she was strong and determined and loved life. She was an avid gardener and made the best perogies! Any visitor to Mom's place would always be offered a hearty homemade meal. In her later years she was cared for at home by her children. We wish to make special mention of her devoted caregivers who helped us care for mama Stella as if she was their own family for almost seven years: Mercy, Shan, Fely, Clarisse, Carolyne and Lhea. Mom was one of a kind and loved by many.
Due to current Covid restrictions a private service will be held.
