Age 67 from Cartier, MB
David John Dyck passed away unexpectedly in his sleep, at home, on January 15, 2022.
David was born on April 14, 1954 in Winnipeg, MB to his parents, John and Sarah (Penner) Dyck. He grew up in Winnipeg with his siblings, Dennis, Randy, Susan and Tracey.
David's love of cars led him to a lifelong career as a mechanic.
David married the love of his life Joanne (nee Lester) Dyck. Together for 42 years they built a home and raised three children, John, Nathan and Erika in Cartier, MB. David was a devoted husband and a loving father who cherished his grandchildren, Brooklyn and Brady.
David retired from a job he loved at Penner Oil in Winnipeg, MB at the age of 65. He was blessed to have been a member of the Grace community Church in Winnipeg, MB. David was an avid golfer and a member of the hole-in-one club. He was a country boy who shared a strong bond with his dogs. David had deep roots that came from Russia to Manitoba in 1925. He has a large family, extended family and many friends.
David was predeceased by his parents, John and Sarah (Penner) Dyck and many other relatives.
David is survived by his wife Joanne (nee Lester) Dyck; his children: John (Carol) Dyck; Nathan (Michelle) Dyck and Erika Dyck; his grandchildren: Brooklyn and Brady; his siblings, Dennis Dyck, Randy Dyck, Susan Boese, Tracey Dyck and their families; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
