BRYAN DOUGLAS HUBBLE
M.D., FRCS

The family of Bryan Douglas Hubble sadly announces his passing in Sedona, Arizona on November 14, 2021 after battling the cruel affects of Alzheimers disease.
Bryan was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba on May 26, 1935 and obtained his Medical Degree in Winnipeg in 1959. He was a Surgery resident in Saskatoon and went on to obtain Plastic Surgery training in UK (three plus years) and Australia (three plus years). He returned to Winnipeg and spent one year in Pathology and one year in General Surgery. He spent seven years in Private Practice Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and then on to Minneapolis, Minnesota for 19 years and then to retirement in Sedona, Arizona.
Bryan used his manual dexterity in his woodworking hobby and he put his energy and ideas to work in Community Service.
Bryan was predeceased by his parents, Stanley and Irene (Pybus); and his brother Barry. He is survived by his cherished wife of 53 years, Annette (Edwards); his daughters, Meredith (Eric) and Gillian of Sedona, and his brother Dale (Dianne) of Toronto, Ontario and his sister-in-law Betty of Guelph, Ontario.
Bryan and Annette had a mutual love of opera, classical and show music and traveled extensively to wherever there was a great production.
A private family service has been held in Sedona.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • My first memory of my brother Bryan was being put up into his bunk bed when we all had measles and according to my Mom he yelled "Get this kid out of here! Others were attending University of Manitoba productions in which he sang and danced wearing kilts (Brigadoon) Other times were during his medical studies questions on items in his medical books when he was studying for exams. Finally, when he retuned on holiday from Scotland, with a bottle of single malt, for which he acquired a lasting taste, I then acquired the same lasting taste. - Posted by: Dale Hubble (Brother) on: Feb 05, 2022
