Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • I have fond childhood memories of Francesca and the Funari Family. As a young girl and later on into my adult years Francesca was always welcoming and hospitable. She was always engaging and her goal was making sure that I ate. On numerous occasions I enjoyed Mr. Funari's homemade sausage and Francesca's home made lasagna. Each time I visited she would respond with "How come you never come to my house." Over the years, she would always extend an open invitation to come and visit and I would never dare to leave or make an excuse for not being hungry or not wanting to eat. She would never accept no for an answer. Francesca was a very strong- willed and persistent woman. At this time my husband, Cliff and I would like to extend our heartfelt sympathy to her family. May God give you comfort and peace in your time of loss. I hope in the final years of her life that she found peace and may she rest in peace. Our deepest sympathies, Cliff and Mary Elizabeth - Posted by: Mary Elizabeth Long (friend ) on: Feb 08, 2022
