NORMAN PROULX

OCTOBER 16, 1935 – FEBRUARY 10, 2022
It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Norman Proulx on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Ste. Anne Hospital at the age of 86.
He is survived by his beloved wife Mary of 65 years, his five children: Robert (Lucille), Carol (Todd Harms), Norman Jr. (Lynn), Cathy (Wayne Jenner), Mary Ann (Bill Hyman). He is also survived by his eight grandchildren and his 13 great-grand-children.
Norm started working in the bush at a very young age and never lost the love for it and the outdoors. Camping, boating, fishing and building were just some of his passions, but his wife and family came first.
The family is forever grateful to the staff for the care he received during his illness.
Cremation has taken place and funeral services will be held at a later date. Friends and family are invited to a view his memorial page and leave condolences at www.birchwoodfuneralchapel.com

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Dear Bob and Norm ...I am very sorry to read of your father's passing ... I've wondered over the years how Norm and his "boys" were doing ... his and your family energy , work ethic, camaraderie and positive outlook, smiles + laughter had an unforgettable impact on me ... I will never forget how Norm was first in line to lend a helping hand on the job and even in my personal life ... he always took the time to recognize people, shake hands and inquire about their life ... I was blessed and very fortunate to have crossed paths and briefly journeyed with such an inspirational man and family ... Norm has left a strong legacy and will be sorely missed ... my deepest condolences to the entire family ....Charlie Roy - Posted by: Charlie Roy (Friend) on: Apr 11, 2022
