ARMAND LAMBERT
1929 - 2022
It is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Armand Philippe Joseph Lambert, 92, on January 31, 2022 at Lions Personal Care Home.
He was predeceased by his parents, Emma (nee Ste. Marie) and Joseph, numerous brothers, sisters and his sons, Denis and Ronald.
He will lovingly be remembered by his wife Marguerite (nee Lafond) of 70 years, and by his children: Rick (Debbie), Yvette, Eugene (Marguerite); eight grand-children: Cheryl (Vince), Richard, Crystal (Kalyn), Matthew (Amanda), Vanessa (Drew), Chantelle, Julie (Jon), Steve (Shey); 12 great-grandchildren: Tyson, Coleton, Addison, Asher, Amerly, Avaya, River, Russell, Tyler, Kyra, Nathan, and Ethan. He will be missed by his sister Marie Riel, many nieces and nephews.
Armand was born in Gravelbourg, Saskatchewan on May 8, 1929. He grew up in St. Boniface where he met his wife and married in 1951. He owned and operated his own cleaning supply company. He could clean and fix most anything.
He always gave a helping hand to family and friends. Armand's family was his pride and joy. He loved going to Ophir to fish, joined countless Sunday dinners and numerous family milestone celebrations. He shared many interesting life stories right to the end, that all enjoyed.
Armand and Marguerite travelled with their camper across Canada, through Alaska, Mexico and many states. They at times travelled and camped with family. They had many summer visits with family in Vancouver. In winter they travelled to Blaine, WA and Palm Springs to visit family.
Through the years they cycled, fished and cross country skied with friends. Later in life, Armand stayed connected with family and friends playing cards and posting on Facebook. His family and friends will truly miss his charm and pleasant demeanor.
The family would like to thank the staff at Grace Hospital and Lions Personal Care Home for their excellent support.
Armand has been cremated and will be buried with his family at Saint-Boniface Cemetery.
A Celebration of Life is yet to be decided.
