JACQUELINE DOROTHY GRAHAM (nee BETTS)

Jacqueline went to her eternal home to be with her Lord and Saviour in her 97th year.
She is survived by her brother Richard (Joyce) Betts; her children, Linda Roy, Chris (Janice), Dave (Judy) and Mark (Gloria); her grandchildren, Beth (Tony), Christopher (Julia), Jeff (Cait) and Jennifer; five great-grandchildren, Will, Abby, Jade, Nathan, Serafina and her nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Allan; her sister Nancy; brother-in-law John Godard and son-in-law George Roy.
Jacqueline came to faith as an adult and was an active church member throughout her life at Fort Garry United, Trinity Baptist, St. Vital Baptist and Willowlake Church. Allan and Jacqueline had a farm at Gunton, where they lived many years and spent summers there after their move into Winnipeg. She never missed an opportunity with the people she encountered in everyday life to minister to their physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
As a family, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks and appreciation to the staff of the Golden West Centennial Lodge for the care given during her final years. A Memorial Service is planned for the summer.

Condolences & Memories (1 entries)

  • Hello, I am a member of Willowlake Baptist Church and saw Jackie's obituary in the paper. Many of the ladies in her "circle" had been looking for her for quite some time. We lost track of her and were disappointed to see she had passed. Jackie was quite a character, always a smile for everyone, and a mischievousness about her. She was a beautiful lady and I'm sure your family will miss her very much, as do we. May I please ask a favour that if there is any type of service later, that you would please let either myself or the church know? We talk about her favourite hymn that she always wanted played and she joked that none of us could use it if we died before her.... Funny lady. Please accept the churchs and my deepest sympathy and condolences. Our prayers are with your family at this time. Judy Whitaker - Posted by: Judy Whitaker (Friend) on: Feb 27, 2022
