CHRISTOPHER JOHN LAFERRIERE
1972 - 2022

Our hearts are broken with the sudden passing of Chris at the age of 49.
He will be deeply missed by his mom Linda (Ben); his brother Dave; nephew Shawn (Tiffany) and his numerous friends and relatives.
Chris was predeceased by his dad Raymond.
Chris lived life on his own terms. He had a quick wit and was king of the one liners. He cared deeply about his beloved pets Sheba and Bud, he is now reunited with them.
Chris loved living out in the country and made a great life for himself. There it brought him peace.
Cremation has taken place and there will be no formal service to follow.

"You never said I'm leaving
You never said goodbye.
You were gone before we knew it,
And only God knew why.
Now all we have are memories
And the tears that we cry."
Family and friends may sign

  • I got a lot of early fun memories in my teens and 20's with Chris at different get together's and bush parties had a lot of laughs. Just one of those guys I thought I'd see again sometime soon, was a good guy and good company, gone way too soon. My condolences to the family, he will be missed. - Posted by: Curtis Tomchuk (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2022

  • So sorry to hear this news. Chris and I had many great conversations over the years. He would always make an effort to say hi to my boys when we would meet him at his workplace. He had a kind soul and will be missed by many. - Posted by: Jeremy (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2022

  • My deepest condolences to Linda, Dave and family. Chris was a true friend. I fondly call him my gentle giant because everything he did and offered was in a "go big or go home" manner. He was there for the good times and the bad. He had a way of cheering up any occasion with his contiguous laugh and witty humour yet had compassion and understanding when you needed a shoulder to lean on. He has left a void in my life that will never be filled. I miss you dear friend. Rest peacefully my gentle giant. - Posted by: Carla Martyn (Friend) on: Feb 28, 2022

Hold onto those and please know how sad I am for you, Dave and all the family. - Posted by: Judy Whitaker (Friend of family) on: Feb 27, 2022
