ROBERT RILEY TILLOTSON
September 12, 1944 - February 19, 2022
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Robert Riley Tillotson, 77, who left us on February 19, 2022 at Health Sciences Centre (HSC) in Winnipeg.
Bob was predeceased by his wife and love of his life Shirlee, mother Eleanor and father Robert. Left to cherish his memory are his sons, Rob (Renée) and Steve (Jill), grandchildren, Owen, Cole, Brielle and Danni, sister Carol (Gary) and many close friends and other relatives.
Bob graduated from University of Manitoba with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He began a rewarding career at Winnipeg Hydro in 1969. Summers were spent at Wanasing Beach with family. He retired after over 32 years service with in 2002. In his retirement he enjoyed golf, cooking, woodworking and spending time with family and friends. He was a handyman who could fix almost anything. Dad was an avid football fan and could be found parked in front of the television whenever his beloved Blue Bombers were playing.
We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff at HSC GH6 who cared for Dad with compassion during his final days.
In accordance with Dad's wishes, cremation has taken place and no service will occur.

Condolences to Robert and Steven on the loss of your father. We were neighbours (#27) for many years. I always remember your dad pacing up and down the driveway as we all raced our bikes up and down the street. One on the few originals left on Ryerson - not too many left. - Posted by: Trish Cabral (Hedlund) (Former neighbour ) on: Mar 22, 2022

My condolences to the family. I first met Bob through his son Steve and then we crossed paths in the neighborhood. When my daughter was 2-3 and out with her Mom for a walk she got stung by a bee near his house. Bob heard the commotion and insisted that he drive them both home. Rest in peace Sir, you were a good man. - Posted by: Tim Shyiak (Neighbor) on: Mar 03, 2022
