BRAYDEN WILLIAM SMYTHE
(SQUISH)

August 19, 2019 - February 22, 2022

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our beautiful son Brayden. On February 22, 2022 our world came crashing down and in a blink of an eye changed forever. You changed our lives Brayden. You and your brother were best friends and will be forever and always. You changed everything. You are such a strong, sweet, funny, larger than life, compassionate little guy. Your laugh was contagious. Your smile lit up the room. Your strength and determination were fierce.
We could have never known when we kissed and hugged you that morning, it would be the last time we would see your little smile or your beautiful eyes. Our home is filled with wonderful memories but the one thing we want most is not here. We built a life around our boys.
Brayden was a light in this sometimes-dark world.
Forever in our hearts, Dad and Mom, Rick and Megan, brother Braxton, grandparents, Fred and Caroline, Betty, James and Barb, Great-Grandpa Fred, Great-Grandma Betty, as well as uncles, aunts, their spouses and children.
We would like to thank those who supported Brayden and our family through his medical journey.
Public viewing with family visitation will take place on Tuesday, March 1, 2022 from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn, 4000 Portage Avenue. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 2, at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn with reception to follow.

With the little time you had on this Earth, you made a huge impact… a "Squishy" impact.
We love you beautiful boy. Rest Peacefully Son.

  • I’m so sorry that you have to go through this. A beautiful soul came into your life, for too short a time. He brought joy, fear, determination, contentment, acceptance, spontaneity, togetherness and unconditional love. Although his body is no longer on this earth, I hope you get some comfort knowing that his soul will always be with you. I wish I could carry some of your pain, but please know you are not alone. Sending love and prayers. šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»šŸ™šŸ»ā™„ļøā™„ļøā™„ļø - Posted by: Joanne Markd (Friend) on: Feb 26, 2022

  • My heart is broken over the loss of my great grandson Brayden. I am at a loss for words and know there is nothing that could be said to ease the pain you must be feeling during this sorrowful time. Know that you are close in thoughts and prayers. Your little "Squish" will be greatly missed but his gentle spirit will be with you forever. Take comfort in knowing that his time on earth he knew only love and how adored he was. I pray in time you are able to find peace and comfort in knowing no little boy was loved more. - Posted by: Fred Smythe (Great Grandfather ) on: Feb 26, 2022
