• I had the pleasure of working with John (or Mr. O as we called him) some years ago at Regent Park Pharmacy, but growing up in Transcona that place was a staple of the community. He was always a pleasure to work with, he always seemed to be ready with a joke or a fun story. I'll always remember him for his 'Mocha' that he would have on his breaks. Coffee with a little bit of hot chocolate; I make it from time to time and just smile a little because I can hear him say 'time for my mow-kah!' It's a small thing, sure, but a fond memory I've kept all these years.
