JEAN MARY WADE
March 21, 1923 - February 23, 2022
Jean passed away peacefully on February 23, 2022, at 98 years of age. She will be lovingly remembered by family and friends in Canada, United States, England, and Australia.
Jean was predeceased by her loving husband Malcolm Wade, sister and brother-in-law Nora and Len Hanneson, brother Arthur Carson, sister-in-law Joan Carson, nephew Dr. Craig Hildahl, and family members in England and Australia.
Jean will be lovingly remembered by niece Wendy Hildahl and her family, Kristin Hildahl-Shawn (Mike) and children, Gavin and Colin, Dr. Stefan Hildahl (Aisling) and children, Kieran, Shea, and Conor, Dr. Erik Hildahl (Alexis) and children, Elin and Hunter; niece Patti Hanneson-Hatch and her family, Johanna Hatch, Kristofer Hatch (Katie); niece Johanna Skaftfeld (Ken) and family, Erika Skaftfeld (Joel), Jon Skaftfeld (Michelle) and daughter Kyla; niece Pamela Carson and daughter Jennifer Daley (Steven) and children, Carson and Caiden; nephew Mike Carson (Joselyn) and son Adam (Kristy) and daughter Quinn; nephew Paul Carson (Sherry) and children, Matthew (Samantha), Lauren, and Sam; and nephew David Carson. Jean will also be forever remembered by her sister-in-law Carolyn Carson.
Jean was born in Langruth, Manitoba, daughter of John and Ellie Carson. She moved to Winnipeg and enjoyed a long career with the Bank of Montreal where she made many long-lasting friends. Jean enjoyed travelling and met her future Australian "Mate" Malcolm on one of her ventures. Malcolm moved to Canada where they married and enjoyed their life together with family and friends. They continued to travel throughout the world and lived a happy life together, sharing in many celebrations, surrounded by a loving extended family and good friends.
The family would like to thank the staff at Tuxedo Villa for the wonderful care provided to Jean.
Cremation has taken place and a family celebration of her life is planned for this summer.
