(nee LOPEZ)
October 26, 1933 – February 24, 2022
It is with great sorrow that her family announces the passing of Teresa Loria on February 24, 2022, she was 88 years old.
Teresa was born in San Giovanni in Fiore, Cosenza Italy where she met and married her husband Saverio, who passed away in November 2008. After spending a few years in France, they moved to Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada and found their home. Teresa was a hairdresser up until retirement at the age of 81, showing just how much she loved to share stories and laugh with all walks of life, if there was a gathering, she'd be at the center of it ensuring the good times continued to roll.
Teresa is survived by her son Salvatore, her daughter-in-law Ainslie and her two grandsons, Andrew and Saverio.
The world is a little dimmer without her laugh and smile, but those memories will continue to provide warmth for an eternity.
A private ceremony has already taken place as per her wishes.
