HELEN JANE PEEBLES

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Helen Jane Peebles.
Helen was predeceased by her husband Bill Peebles; her daughter Monica; her grandson Lynden; her mother Daisy Tait; father Norman Vandell; her sister Joyce Lahure and her brothers, Wayne, Orville, Terry.
She leaves to mourn her children, Mitch Peebles (Shiela Peebles), William Peebles (Lily), Shyanne Peebles (Steve) and her grandchildren, Maranda, Valerie, Ginickka, Kya and Dustin; her great-grandchildren, Stephen, Kaleb, Damien, Autumn, Neniyah, Ben, Amari, Lyric, Ayvin, Zane and her sisters and brothers and her brother-in-law/brother Allan Lahure who held a special place in her heart; also numerous nieces and nephews and her special friends.
Helen was born in Sandy Lake, Saskatchewan, where she spent most of her childhood. She lived in a few places before she met her husband in Brandon and she began raising her own family from there. She loved to laugh and tell stories of the many trips and memories she shared with close family and friends. She especially loved talking about her grandchildren. They were her pride and joy and brought such joy in her life. Her last place she spent the last of her time was the Lions Manor in Selkirk, where she met up with old friends and made new ones who she cherished spending time with. She loved her Sunday church and loved to pray for everyone. She will forever be missed by all who loved her.
The family would like to thank the Selkirk Hospital who were nothing but caring and took such good care of her at the end and to all the family and friends that sent out their condolences.
Due to Covid restrictions and our terrible weather, the family will have a service later in the spring.
