WILLIAM WILKINS
It is with sadness and gratefulness for a life well lived that we share the passing of William (Bill) Wilkins on March 7, 2022 at the age of 81 years. He is now reunited with his wife of 54 years, Jo-Ann, who predeceased him in February 2020.
Left to celebrate his life are his children, Krista and Todd Buchanan and Ken Wilkins and Pauline Solayo; grandchildren, Sam (Tyler Payne) and Kylea Buchanan, and Jasper Solayo (Amy Franko). He is also lovingly remembered by his sister, Betty Rowland; brother, Mike (Norma); sister-in-law, Donna; and many nieces and nephews. Bill was also predeceased by his brother, George.

We met Bill and Joanne in 1985 when we moved (from Calgary) next door to them. They were the most friendly, kind and considerate people we have ever known. Joann for her great baking and Bill for his flower gardens. We soon became good friends enjoying happy hrs together. No shot glass was used from that time on as Lyle taught Bill how to use his measurement of two fingers? Lol. I am sure Bill, Joann and Lyle are enjoying a good stiff one up in heaven while watching down upon the loved ones they have left behind. Sending condolences to the Wilkins family. I hadn’t seen Bill since my Mother’s 90th birthday. However when we were young we spent many hours with the Wilkins family - Sunday dinners, picnics at Killarney Lake, family gatherings at the Wilkins Farm and on many other occasions!
