CANADA, Cecil James Merle Passed away at the Evergreen Personal Care Home, Boissevain, MB, on Friday March 11, 2022 at the age of 94 years, Cecil James Merle Canada. Cecil was born at Sandy Lake, MB, on January 23, 1928, the second son of Andrew and Jeanne Canada, brother to Bill, Ed, Lawrence, Kenny, Lorraine and Shirley. He was a man that enjoyed hunting, fishing and doing carpenter work. Cecil leaves to mourn his passing his six children, Valorie Millman of Estevan, SK, Andy (Lisa) Canada of Boissevain, MB, Larry (Terry) Canada of Belmont, MB, Mark Canada (Shirley Matchett) of Killarney, MB, Kenny Canada of Lethbridge, AB, Naomi (Bruce) Hudson of Medicine Hat, AB, 19 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren as well as great-great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Lawrence Canada of Deloraine, MB, sister-in-law Betty Canada of Boissevain, MB, as well as extended relatives. Cecil was predeceased by his daughter Connie Webb, grandson Kylie Canada, parents Andrew and Jane Canada, brothers Bill, Edward and Kenny and by sisters Shirley Goodon and Lorraine Goodon. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday March 16, 2022 at 1:00 pm in the Family Worship Centre, Boissevain, MB, with Pastor Orland Usick and Pastor Bob Wilson officiating. Interment to follow in the Boissevain Cemetery. Friends that so desire, memorial donations can be made in Cecil's memory to a charity of choice.
