BETTY YIM-FUN WONG
It is with great sadness that we share the sorrow for our beloved family member, Betty Yim-Fun Wong, who returned to heaven on March 9, 2022.
Betty was born on March 3, 1959, in Hong Kong, China. In the fall of 1979 Betty immigrated to Winnipeg, with her family, Betty finished high school at Vincent Massey Collegiate and graduated at Red River College in business administration. After graduation, Betty worked at the Harmony Mansion in China Town for over 35 years, where she will always be remembered by her team for her contribution, determination, and her good gesture and harmonious relations with tenants.
Betty was the beloved sister of Tak Cheung, (David), (Wan-Sing), Wendy, Fong, and Peter. Beloved aunt of Peggy, Pauline, Penny, Stefanie, Calvin, Amy, Tom, and Nancy. Lip-Yun, Lip-Chi, Pun-Shan, sister-in-law of Cindy. As well as the beloved great-aunt of Tayla,
Betty will always be remembered, missed, and forever loved by all who knew her for her warm and generous spirit, hard work, huge, loving heart to others, devotion and commitment to family. We know in our hearts that Betty is now our guardian angel, who will look over and protect us in heaven.
Betty's farewell viewing will take place on Wednesday, March 16, 2022 for close family and invitees at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard.

So sorry for your loss. Betty and I met at an H&R Block course many years ago. From there on we always made plans to meet at a restaurant at least once a year. So sad to hear of Betty's passing. I knew Betty when I worked at Imperial Parking. We would have numerous conversations over the years, She was so helpful and always super friendly and so nice!
