MARIE THERESE (TERRY) ELISA LEPAGE
(née RICHARD)

July 28 ,1928 - March 11, 2022

It is with mixed emotions that we announce the passing of our dear mom Terry Lepage.
Mom was predeceased by her husband, of 71 years, Emile in 2020; parents, Violet Richard (née Berriault - 1934) and Frank Richard (1954); Theresa Richard (née Roy -2015); siblings, Frank Richard, Yvette Cooper Casson, Arthur Richard, Yvonne Wiebe, Ray Richard, and Mary-Lou Vella. Terry was also predeceased by her sons-in-law, Jacques Taillefer, Ray Morrison, and Jack Anderson, as well as one grandson Anthony Lepage and many in-laws.
Left to mourn her passing are her children, Irene Anderson, Bob Lepage (Lucille), Paulette Morrison, Andre Lepage, Lorraine Taillefer, Ed Lepage, Michelle McDuff (Randy) and Dianne Lepage (Jo). Mom leaves 23 grandchildren, 30 great-grandchildren; sisters, Perry Haarsma and Jo-Anne Martin (Gary); brother-in-law John Lepage; sisters-in-law, Yvonne Eastoe and Lilliane Lepage, as well as many nieces, nephews, and very dear friends.
In her younger years Mom was a dynamo. At school she was involved in Junior Parliament, debate teams, and Eucharistic Crusades. She loved to play baseball and bowl, knit, crochet, sew, make crafts, and she was an amazing baker. Her homemade bread, cinnamon buns, and butter tarts were everyone's favourites. Mom loved bingo, and card and dice games but mostly she loved people.
Mom and Dad created a home filled with faith, love, laughter, and respect. Everyone was welcome and there was always room for one or two more at the table.
In her later years after dementia took over Mom was still the perfect hostess. She was always very concerned about her guests' comfort and forever offering a beverage or something to eat, a cushion or her rocking chair so they could be more comfortable. For many years she looked forward to her weekly games of hand and foot canasta with Louis and Jeannine and Auntie Perry. She really missed them when Covid hit.
A Celebration of Life for both Terry and Emile will be held at Desjardins Funeral Home on Thursday, March 17, at 2:00 p.m. with a reception to follow.

Mom, you are with Dad now in your Heavenly home. We will miss your
sparkling eyes and beautiful smile.
Rest in peace Mom.
