ROBERT RONALD JOSEPH THUOT

Following a lengthy illness, it is with deep sadness that we announce the death of Robert Thuot. He passed away at St. Boniface Hospital, Winnipeg, Manitoba, on March 13, 2022 at the age of 57 years old.
Robert was predeceased by his mother Céline Thuot; father Raymond Thuot and brother Marc.
He is survived by his brother Georges Thuot; sister-in-law Dolorès Deschênes; brother Normand Thuot; sister Diane Thuot-MacDonald; brother-in-law Douglas MacDonald and stepmom Lorie Lott. He will also be missed by his friends, André and Suzanne Tétrault as well as Godchild Joshua, his friend Paul Gatin, his friend Ripley Hayes and his faithful friend Ruby (black lab).
Robert lived near Marchand and loved spending time outdoors with his dog Ruby. He worked mostly as a Diesel mechanic and previously as a truck driver. He enjoyed spending time riding his Harley Davidson to Kenora, Ontario, going down West or going to the States with his friends. He also loved going camping and fishing. Another one of his joys was watching movies, especially the John Wayne ones. He loved his family and enjoyed sharing special moments with them.
We would like to thank all the staff at St. Boniface Hospital and at Steinbach Hospital for their care and compassion.
Cremation has taken place and he will be laid to rest at a future date with a private service.
Donations may be made to Addictions Foundation Manitoba or St. Boniface Hospital in Robert's memory.
