Cindy I was so sad to just find out about this. I last saw your Mom at my Dad's funeral in Dec. 2018. She was just as awesome as ever and knew me right away as I recognized her as well. I can't begin to say how much she meant to me. Always there for me (and us) before and after my Mom passed away. Your Dad and Mom taking me along to swimming lessons at the Pan-Am (where I finally DID learn to swim and later joined the MB Marlins and later swam with University of North Dakota!). They were always around for trick or treating and the list goes on...of and many sandwiches were eaten in your kitchen! So many fond memories. I hope that you and your family are doing well. Tim now lives in Korea and Craig is just outside of Winnipeg by Labrairier (sp) Park. - Posted by: Janine (Whitman) Meister (aka from Mrs. G. "neen the bean") (Friend) on: Jun 13, 2022

I met Marion through the group Pembina Active Living (55+), Still Bloomin' Gardening Club. We spent many enjoyable hours in King's Park cleaning up the waterfall area and bring the Hosta garden back to life. As the convener of the LunchPALs program, we also spent many happy hours sharing lunches at various restaurants. Although I am 30 years her junior, she always had time for my ideas and treated me with courtesy, dignity and respect. I will miss her dry wit, her ready smile and her sense of humour. Thank you Marion for the many years we were able to spend together. I will miss you! Marla - Posted by: Marla Olinyk (Friend) on: Mar 31, 2022
