Peggie was a dear friend. We met at West Park Manor where she would visit her friend Betty every day. Her dedication was unparalleled and she would take the bus every day to get to WPM. We enjoyed many recreation activities together and we became fast friends. When I discovered she lived close to me we were able to spend time driving together. A favourite memory was when we went to the Whitehorse Emporium together & shopped & had tea & a jam scone (her favourite). A story she told me that I found fascinating was how they came to live here. Her dad was either to wait in a line for Australia or Canada & the line for Canada was shorter. And the rest is history. Too amazing! Peggy was sharp as a whip! She was always interested in others & shared of herself too. I was shocked to hear of her passing as we had talked in the weeks prior. She was resilient. I am so happy she lived a long life. She affected many people's lives. I will miss our chats greatly. Love you Peggy! - Posted by: Paula Ginzburg (Friend) on: Apr 11, 2022

I first met Peggie when she frequently visited her friend Betty at Rosewood Retirement Home. Peggie was a faithful friend to Betty. Peggie had many friends because she was a wonderful friend. I am truly fortunate to have had her in my life and to have had her as my special friend. - Posted by: Susan Docker (Friend) on: Mar 26, 2022

Peggie, was the most brilliant, kind, caring neighbour / friend we can all hope to find in our lives. Since we moved to Winnipeg, 28 years ago, Peggie welcomed our family with open arms and we became instant friends, quickly becoming family at heart. She was always there for us whenever we needed, giving us guidance and very treasured advise. We are fortunate to have shared so many good times together and made many cherished memories. We will forever miss you Peggie, miss your beautiful smile and your sparkling blue eyes, your quick wit and in-depth knowledge and lastly we will miss our visits together and your warm hugs. Our hearts are broken and it is with heavy hearts we say goodbye but know we will meet again someday! 💔 Love: Tony, Elaine, Andrew, Jordan, Tia, Tamara and Luca Saccucci. - Posted by: Tony and Elaine Saccucci (Neighbour/ Friend) on: Mar 23, 2022

Peggy has been a fixture on our street since long before we moved in. We will miss seeing her in the front yard picking up leaves or heading out for a walk to the Health Centre. It was always nice to stop and chat with her. A life well lived. - Posted by: Kelly and Harold Kluger (Neighbors) on: Mar 22, 2022
