JEROSLAWA (JERRY) MARY (KLIMCHAK) DOBUSH

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Jeroslawa Dobush on February 25, 2022, at the age of 80.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Christine (David) and Monica (Darrel); son Michael (Tammy); grandchildren, Meaghan, Matthew, Keenan, Kyla, Kaitlin, and Daniel; her brother Atanazie (Janet); sister Isydora (Joe); and many nieces and nephews.
Jerry was predeceased by her husband Walter; parents, Stephanie (nee Musyj) and John Klimchak; sister Glikeria; brother Michael; and nieces, Nadia and Patricia.
Jerry was born on October 26, 1941 in Ituna, SK. Her family relocated to Transcona, MB in May of 1942. After graduating high school, she worked as a secretary. On June 4, 1966, she married the love of her life, Walter Dobush. They lived in Cleveland and Vancouver before settling down in Pinawa, MB where they raised their family.
Jerry valued her relationships with others. She was very friendly and made new friends everywhere she went. While in Pinawa, she worked as a secretary at W.B. Lewis School. Jerry's faith was important to her, she enjoyed singing in the church choir and was a member of the Ukrainian Catholic Women's League.
Family was incredibly important to Jerry. She cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren and would proudly share stories and news about her family with others. She showed her love for her grandchildren through handmade gifts. She loved to crochet and knit, and made the best homemade cookies and cinnamon buns ever. She especially loved to spend time on the Pinawa golf course with Wally, whenever he wanted to shoot a round of golf. She also enjoyed walks with her beloved dog Ginger. She will be remembered by her family as giving the best hugs and having the most contagious laugh.
A private funeral service has taken place at St. Michael's Ukrainian Catholic Parish.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or Bishop Velychkovsky National Martyr's Shrine.

We love you and we miss you.

Rest in Peace! Vichnaya Pamyat!
