PHYLLIS MARIE WHITE
(nee ROY)

Peacefully, with her sons Roy and Paul at her side, Phyllis White passed away during the evening of Thursday, March 17, 2022. Phyllis joins her husband Thomas William White, son Terence William (Aldyne), baby Philip George and many other relatives and friends who passed away before her.
In addition to sons, Roy (Jan) and Paul, she is survived by grandchildren, Christopher, Bryan, Chrissy and John, and great-grandchildren, Jacob, Alexandra and Abby.
Born in Kenora, Ontario in 1915 and passing at the age of 106, Phyllis lived through many more experiences than most of us ever will. She travelled the world but more recently could only travel the hallways of her retirement residence. One of her favourite activities was spending time at the lake, with a fishing rod in hand, waiting for anything to take the bait and bite the hook.
Phyllis very much enjoyed her time with the Catholic Women's League and as an Associate of the Sisters of the Holy Names of Jesus and Mary.
We thank the Lord for your life, your patience, your wisdom and your love. We know you are finally at rest.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. John Brebeuf Roman Catholic Church in River Heights Wednesday, March 30 at 11:00 a.m.
A private family interment will take place at a later date in Lake of the Woods Cemetery in Kenora.
We thank the many professionals of the Boulton Retirement Community, the WRHA Home Care services and the St. Boniface Hospital.
In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in her name to the foundation or charity of your choice.
