KENNETH SCOTT CONSTANT
1970 - 2022

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Ken Constant announces his passing on, March 20, 2022.
Ken will be forever remembered by his family, mother Sharon (Bill); sisters, Christeen, Michelle (Ron); uncle Joseph (Lianne); cousins, Liam (Nicola) and Claire. Also, dear friends, Joanne and Stacey.
Ken was predeceased by his loving father, Robert.
Ken was born and raised in Winnipeg. He attended Principal Sparling School and RB Russell Trade School.
He had many great qualities, but amongst the greatest was his loyalty to his family, friends and to his employment. Kenny held a variety of jobs for many years including his last job with Misericordia for the last 18 years.
Since he was a young boy he had a passion of watching and going to wrestling matches with a vast knowledge of who were the good guys and who were the bad guys. He was an avid collector of knives and model cars, he loved Mopar and had no problem shaming Fords.
If you were Ken's friend or family, he showed you true commitment and was always willing to lend a hand. He always had a big smile, a kind heart, a complimenting word, and he took great comfort in being with his family and his dog Krystal.
Ken will be missed by all who knew him. We will miss his crazy sense of humour and his capacity to demonstrate his love.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to a charity of choice.
Cremation has taken place. The family will have a private service, a public celebration of Ken's life will occur at a later date.

I miss you so much. I wish I could have said goodbye to you. I won't be able to have one of those funny conversations with you ever again. Ever since your gone I haven't been the same person anymore. • Ken is the kindest most loving and giving person I have ever known. Our family will miss him so very much. We met 14 years ago and he was the greatest friend to us. He was with us through some of the hardest times we have had. He was always super supportive he always made sure we knew how much we were loved. He was a super great uncle to all our kids they always loved when him and Krystal would come visit. A very special man is gone and he will be missed by all who had the pleasure to meet him!!! Love you Ken always!!! - Posted by: Jenn & Gord Murdy (Friends) on: Jun 25, 2022

  • Ken had the biggest heart. He was always willing to listen if you needed to talk and always had a kind word of support when needed. I will really miss his smile and kindness. Anytime you needed help he was always there. Ken, you will be sorely missed. I'm sure you are now an angel in heaven looking over all your friends and family. Rest in peace my friend. - Posted by: Nicole Perras (Friend and co-worker) on: Apr 09, 2022

  • “Why do all the good ones go so soon?”, I ask myself. I used to drive Kenny home on occasion. I met him while I was also working at MHC. But it didn’t matter what you did there. From director to new face he was kind to all and I learned that very quickly. He was open and candid to my recollection and quick to offer help. He was humble, too, so he possessed the greatest wisdom. T.S. Eliot’s “Four Quartets”: “The only wisdom we can hope to acquire Is the wisdom of humility: humility is endless.” Kenny had boundless wisdom. “Why do the good ones go so soon?”, I ask again. I don’t know. But be good, always. Be like Kenny. Goodbye Kenny. I hope you’re holding the championship belt in heaven right now as “the good guy” because you were, to me. - Posted by: Brian Romanjuk (Friend/coworker) on: Apr 07, 2022

  • I met Ken in the hallways of the Provincial Health Contact Centre at Misericordia. He introduced himself as "Ken, like Kenny Rogers" and I never forgot him after that. He was kind, funny, and always offered to help out after our shifts were over. I am saddened by his passing and I extend my deepest condolences for his family. - Posted by: Brian K (Misericordia Hospital ) on: Apr 01, 2022

  • I was so sorry to hear of Ken’s passing. He was the bright spot in some tough times and never failed to cheer me up whenever we ran into each other in the hallways of Misericordia, always stopping whatever he was doing just to have a chat. Even if we didn’t have long to talk, at the very least he would always make sure to get a smile out of me before we continued on our days. His cheer and considerateness will be greatly missed by many. Rest In Peace, Ken, and thanks for everything. - Posted by: Jenna Coutts (Misericordia ) on: Mar 31, 2022

  • Sharon, Christine and family and close friends, we were so sorry to hear about Kenny! His presence is already missed. He was a kind ambassador to the many volunteers that walked in via the Wolseley door of MHC. The community benefited from his directions as to where to park. • This is such a shock to hear! I am so sorry for your loss. Kenny was always so pleasant and kind. He was a confident, outgoing spirit and that would rub off on people. So many of us came to know and love him. He would always say hi to me and salute me with a smile. I really appreciated that and it would make my day better. It was always such a pleasure to see him in the halls and catch up quickly before he went back to work. He was always working so hard and ALWAYS happy to help in any way he could. He loved his dog Krystal so much and was so happy and proud to share his stories. He always wanted to hurry home to her cuddles. I hope she is doing ok and will be well taken care of. Kenny will be very missed by everyone here at Health Links. Stay strong and God bless. Kenny will always be in our hearts. He will not be forgotten. Sending love and prayers to friends and family. - Posted by: Molly Eidse (Co Worker) on: Mar 28, 2022

  • Kenny left the world at far too young of an age, but he still leaves behind an impressive legacy. My deepest sympathies go out to you my dear friend Michelle and the rest of family. I grew up around Kenny as he was the brother of my best friend Michelle. Kenny was a unique one of a kind soul. Although he could be very stubborn and set in his ways he was a very gentle and caring, compassionate person. I remember Kenny letting Me and Michelle drive his car when we were underage...lol..or letting us play with his CB radio and chatting up random people...Kenny was always willing to accommodate anything us girls wanted! Lots of awesome, fun and funny memories with Kenny. It was an honour to grow up with him to call him my friend. Words however kind, can not mend heartache, but I hope that caring and sharing in your loss will comfort you comfort and bring you peace of mind. May you all find strength in the love of family and in the warm embrace of friends. RIP Kenny. - Posted by: Heidi Manza (Friend of Michelle Constant, Kenny's younger sister) on: Mar 28, 2022
