Dick was born on October 22, 1932 in Amato, Calabria, Italy and immigrated to Canada in 1954 at the age of 22.

My deepest condolences to Darlene and her family. Dick was always a pleasure to be around. Always so loving and caring, cool, calm, and collected. I always enjoyed the times Dick and Darlene would come to my Aunt Mary's house for coffee. It was a pleasure knowing you Dick - may you rest in peace. Ian and I were so sorry to read of Dick's passing. We were very glad to have had you both as neighbors for many years-- remembering Dick's green thumb when gardening, your friendship and hospitality, and Joey as a young man.
