Condolences & Memories (6 entries)

  • Lou worked downstairs in Production. I worked in the office but every once in a while we would run into each other in the canteen. Lou was a kind, caring individual who listened well and was alway willing to help. May his memory live on through his family and friends. • So sorry to learn of the sad news of my friend and co-worker’s passing. I have just been made aware of this news in the last few days. It saddens me that I was unable to his memorial service. Lou and I worked together for many years at the Smurfit-Stone plant on Inkster up until his retirement. I would also run into him occasionally at our mechanic’s shop. He was a great human being, kind, patient and always in good humour. You could talk to Lou about anything, very interesting man. He will surely be missed by all those whose lives where touched by his spirit. My condolences go out to Lorraine and to each of his children. Rest In Peace my friend - Posted by: Paul H. • So sorry to hear of Uncle Luc's passing. He was a good man. He reminded me so much of my Dad. I always enjoyed going to visit both of you when I was in Winnipeg and staying at my friends house not far from you. I wish we could have seen each other more often. Thinking of Auntie Lorraine and keeping the family in my prayers. Jackie - Posted by: Jackie Comeau harrison (Niece) on: Apr 04, 2022

  • I was so sad to hear of Uncle Lou’s passing. Such great memories resurfaced of our childhood weekends, beach days. I will remember most his smile, laugh and great kindness. I wish I could attend his service to give you all hugs in person, but my prayers are with you always. He will be truly missed. Thank you Uncle Lou for the great times; love you all.
