BONNIE KATHLEEN BEAUDIN
(CRATE)
May 30, 1952 - March 30, 2022

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our sister Bonnie after her short but courageous battle with cancer.
She passed away in peace with our sister Mary-Anne and Pastor Chris by her side.
She leaves to mourn in passing her children, Roberta Anderson, James Anderson and daughter of her heart Peggy Leigh, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; siblings, Eleanor, Mary-Anne (Cliff), Doug (Rose), Barb (Aron), as well many nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
Bonnie was predeceased by her husband Oliver, parents, Doug and Peggy Crate, siblings, Dorie, Jean and David.
After growing up in the Weston area, Bonnie managed, cooked and served at numerous hotels including the Weston Legion over the years where she made many lifelong friends.
Bonnie loved cooking, her specialty was making perogies for her friends and family. She also enjoyed fishing, playing Bingo and many long nights playing a few rounds of "friendly" card games with her mom and sisters. She was always "elected" to decorate Mom and Dad's Christmas tree and plant their garden each spring, which we were all grateful for.
Although Bonnie's path in life was not an easy one, she did find happiness in recent years with her husband Oliver listing to country music, travelling to South Beach Casino and watching old movies for hours.
Bonnie's smiles, kindness and willingness to help others will be missed and thought of often.
We are thankful for the kind and compassionate care Bonnie received at Riverview Health Care and the visits, prayers and spiritual guidance from Pastor Chris Zielke of Cross Church. Bonnie found peace and comfort in her faith and personal acceptance of Jesus.
As per Bonnie's request, cremation has taken place and a private graveside service will be held at a later date.

"Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hears my voice, and opens the door, I will come into him, and will dine with him and he with Me." Rev 3:20

  • Will miss you Auntie Bonnieā¤ - Posted by: Tracey Jones (Niece) on: Apr 09, 2022

  • We did have a lot of fun times. I'll always remember her baking and Jim holding her arms behind her back so Kendra could steal the raw cookie dough. The look on her face when she opened the oven and a few cookies were gone. lol I can't remember the names she gave 2 of the bright stars in the night sky. She was so upset when she broke my glass mixing bowl thinking it was a family heirloom, she came up to me with the broken pieces and I thought she was going to cry she said I'm soooo sorry I broke it. I'll pay for it. I started yelling at her MY PRICELESS DOLLARAMMA BOWL!! I'm sure everyone who knew her knows what names she called me. We hadn't talked for a long while but will always remember the good and not bad times. - Posted by: Karen (Niece) on: Apr 09, 2022
