JOYCE ANNA MOODY
February 14, 1940 - April 8, 2022
Joyce passed away at age 82 in Winnipeg. She was born and raised in Dauphin, MB and was predeceased by her parents, Gordon and Annie Lunsted.
Following graduation from Dauphin Collegiate, she spent some time in Regina working, before moving back to Dauphin where she married Peter Marchak. They had three children, Kelly, Jeff and Glenn.
In 1975, Joyce and Glenn moved to Winnipeg. Joyce then worked for the Federal Government and met Keith Moody whom she married in 1989. Their honeymoon was a week in England and a three week Mediterranean cruise. Joyce loved to travel. They went down to the Islands three times and in 2000, enjoyed a trip to Australia with stops in Honolulu and Fiji. Joyce was a member of the Eastern Star and enjoyed time with friends and family.
Everyone who knew Joyce, loved her. She will be sadly missed by husband Keith; daughter Kelly Ganchar (Don); sons, Jeff (Jackie) Marchak and Glenn (Donna) Marchak; stepsons, Wayne and Grant (Sue) Moody; grandchildren, Jenna, Keegan, Jordan, Jennifer, Chelsea, Ryne, Zeke; ten great-grandchildren; sister Mildred Green and brother Raymond Lunsted.
Cremation has taken place. Joyce's final resting place will be in Dauphin at a future date.
