MARY ROSE PREYMA

It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of our mother, Mary Rose Preyma (née Kindrachuk), on Wednesday, April 6, 2022 at the age of 71.
Mary was born to Walter Prosiak and Maria Swystun on March 3, 1951. She was a farm girl, and was raised by her parents Annie and Andrew Kindrachuk just outside of North Battleford, SK. Mary eventually moved to Winnipeg, MB where she met her former husband Greg Preyma and raised two daughters.
Mary is survived by her daughters, Windy (Charles) and Donna and the extended Kindrachuk and Preyma families. We are so thankful that we got to spend your last week with you Mom. And please - don't worry, we will always check the weather and traffic conditions on CJOB before heading out.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue.

Condolences & Memories (3 entries)

  • Mary was my friend for 27 years. We had great times at the lake. Sitting around the bonfire and having a beer and talking into the wee hours into the night. I will miss you Mary. Rest In Peace.❤️🙏🏻 - Posted by: Karin Shaw (Friend ) on: Apr 22, 2022

  • We are so very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. We remember the good times we had at the lake and the many bonfires. Mary will always be remembered and greatly missed. - Posted by: Angelika Zabor (Friends) on: Apr 16, 2022

  • Windy and Donna, So very sorry to hear of the passing of your Mom. I certainly remember all the good times we all had in the Waverley Heights neighborhood. Four of us neighbors (Mary, Shirley, Barb and myself) had our first babies close together and the support we got from each other was amazing! Mary was a kind strong mom and woman and I know you will miss her and I trust you will cherish the great memories! Glenda Dean - Posted by: Glenda dean (Friend) on: Apr 16, 2022
