PATRICK MCDONALD
March 20, 1965 - April 8, 2022

It is with deep sadness that we announce that Patrick passed away peacefully in his sleep at home on April 8, 2022 at the age of 57 years.
He will be deeply missed by his loving wife Regina and his children, Bethlehem (Robert) and Joseph.
Patrick struggled all his life with mental illness and depression, often relying on support from his wife and children to get through difficult times. While we mourn the loss of Patrick here on Earth, we also rest assured that he finally found peace.
A funeral mass will be held on Tuesday, April 19 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Parish on the corner of Munroe Ave and Brazier Street.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Mood Disorders Association of Manitoba.

Condolences & Memories (4 entries)

  • To my Baby Brother - Your passing has left your brothers and sister with broken hearts. In your darkest days, we might not have fully understood your condition, but we never stopped loving you. We always hoped your suffering would improve. Now that your suffering has ended and you're finally at peace, I look back on fond memories of our baby brother. Trips to the store for candy and camping with the family. Playing with my kids at Matlock, and my favorite, your crying when I said goodbye to you at my wedding. Our family life on Leighton Avenue was wonderful because God blessed us with great parents. Now Mary Ann, Michael, Matthew, and myself can begin the healing process, knowing you are at peace with Mom & Dad. - Posted by: Danny McDonald (Brother) on: Apr 25, 2022
