Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • We at ANAF 283 have wondered for years where Butch was... Now we know. Sad to hear he is gone..Butch and I met at the Downs hotel many moons ago. His daughter babysat my son. Butch and I enjoyed our shuffleboard at the Downs then he talked me into joining 283. We then proceeded to win the command event that year as partners. Butch was tough but sensitive. I watched him teaching rookie drivers at RRC and he was a force to deal with but when you left his school you knew what you were doing... I miss the big fella. Butch you are missed!!!!!!!! • I remember Butch from when he was one of the instructors at the RRCC class 1 driver training course in 1980. He was a good teacher and a nice guy who made those hot dusty days fun. My condolences to his family. - Posted by: Russ Glendinning (none) on: Apr 16, 2022
