TOSH CLARKE PLOUFFE
On April 9, 2022, at Health Sciences Centre, Tosh unexpectedly passed in his 27th year. Our hearts are broken and Tosh will be sadly missed by all of his family and friends whose lives he touched.
Tosh is survived by his parents, Catharine and Wilfred Plouffe and Dustin Jackson. Brothers and sisters, Tiernen and Taggert Plouffe, half-sister Staycy Cozma. His Great-Grandma Mildred Smith, Grandpa Bob Clarke, Auntie Colleen Mitani (Darcy), cousins, Sam and Maggie, Uncle Bill (Lisa), cousins, Easton, Ella and Gradin. As well as Uncle Ray Plouffe (Marina), Auntie Wendy Plouffe, cousins, Amanda, Jessica and Lily Plouffe, Uncle Walter (Grace) Kellie and Brittany Plouffe, Gammie Gay Jackson, Uncle Duane Jackson (Rui), Auntie Dresden Jackson-Bodden, Auntie Deirdre Carmola, cousins, Alexandria, James Gordon, Rene and Marie, Kameal, Sabrina, Trevor Jr., and Sammy. Tosh had many other dear cousins and family members that mourn his loss.
Tosh was predeceased by his Great-Grandparents, Neil and Mona Clarke, Duncan Smith, Grandma Patti Clarke, Babba Penny Plouffe, Grandpa Wilfred Plouffe Sr., and Papi Sammy Jackson.
Tosh was born in the Cayman Islands, grew up in Winnipeg, MB and graduated from Vincent Massey Collegiate. He participated in a variety of sports while growing up, with hockey and baseball being his main focus. Most recently he developed a passion for the game of golf and enjoyed his membership at St. Boniface.
Tosh had an infectious, charismatic personality that drew others to him. And this goes without saying; a smile that would light up a hundred rooms. At an early age Tosh developed a love of cowboys and named his first pet fish Roy Rogers. He took horseback riding lessons and competed in quick draw competitions in Deadwood, South Dakota, where he drew crowds and was eventually interviewed by their local news station. He loved playing basketball, mini-sticks, and floor hockey with his brothers; trash talking each other along the way. He spent COVID going to the gym always coaching his brother on how to work on his 'gains'. He was enjoying his studies at Red River College and was looking forward to graduating this month with Commerce, Industry Sales and Marketing.
Tosh was a fierce competitor and was known as a joker and team leader. Many hours were spent outside on the ODR with his friends and brothers and he enjoyed many walks with the family dog Bosco. Tosh loved board games, watching movies with his 'Momma Bear', playing checkers with his dad, writing poetry and goal setting.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., on Wednesday, April 20, 2022, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard. Reception will immediately follow at Nicolino's Restaurant, 2077 Pembina Hwy, Winnipeg, MB.
