ELIZABETH ADAMS
(BLANC)
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Elizabeth (Lise) Adams on April 13, 2022.
She is survived by her loving husband Ian; her sons, Albert (Wendy) and Gilles (Jo-Anne); her grandchildren, Paul (Andrea), Natalie (Joe), Marc (Robin), Matthew (Jennifer) and her 12 great-grandchildren. She also leaves her two brothers, Georges (Linda) and Maurice and brothers-in-law, Lindsay (Trish) and Doug.
Lise was very proud of and spoke fondly of her French heritage. She cherished the years that she worked for the City of Winnipeg. Lise will be lovingly remembered for her infectious laugh, her ability to connect with anyone she encountered, and for always seeing the best in everyone. Above all, Lise cherished her family. She loved sitting around the table sharing a good meal and was often the last to leave a gathering. Lise never took anything for granted and cherished every moment.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Dr. Crawford and the staff of Palliative Care from ward 3E at the Riverview Health Centre for their care and compassion.
In keeping with her wishes, no funeral service will be held. Cremation has taken place. A private family service will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CancerCare Manitoba.
Gigi you will be forever in our hearts.

Condolences to the family of a very special lady. I met Lise and Ian through my sister Irene and Don Hutton and was very fortunate to spend time at Lee River playing many card games and invited to their home in Wpg for great dinners and card games. She will be missed by many, but the footprint she left will be with you always. Rest In Peace and God Bless Dear Lise….the Angels are waiting at the card table💕💕💕💕 - Posted by: Jane Bell (Friend) on: Apr 25, 2022
