Nellie Wiebe was a loving and caring person who was always willing to help her family and friends. Her faith was her anchor that guided her through difficult times. She always thanked the Lord for all her blessings. She loved her family, flowers and gardening, making amazing flower arrangements and cards. Nellie was also really involved with many church groups associated with First Mennonite Church, Neepawa First Baptist, McIvor Mennonite Brethren, Calvary Temple and many woman's groups.
Nellie was predeceased by her parents, Mary and Jacob Froese, her brother John, sister Anne and son Mark. Nellie died, leaving behind a sister Lillie, brother-in-law Aron, three children and their spouses, and seven grandchildren. Her guidance, love and wisdom will never be forgotten.
Her funeral will be shared with a memorial for her son Mark at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at McIvor Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Avenue, Winnipeg, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. A reception and open mike will follow the service. MARK CORWIN WIEBE

January 1, 1969 - October 5, 2020

Mark is greatly missed. He was a giant of a man in all respects and touched the lives of people all over the world.
Mark leaves behind his parents, George and Nellie, brothers, Brent and Daryl, and sister Laura, along with their families, as well as extended family and numerous friends. Mark died doing one of the many things he loved, riding his Goldwing. Mark is greatly loved and missed by many. May he continue to inspire us as we carry on.
Due to Covid Restrictions, Mark has yet to be laid to rest, now due to his mother (Nellie Wiebe's) sudden death, we are combining her funeral and his memorial at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at McIvor Mennonite Brethren Church, 200 McIvor Avenue, Winnipeg, with viewing at 10:00 a.m. A reception and open mike will follow the service. Condolences & Memories (2 entries)

  • Mrs Wiebe was always kind as I knew her as a young adult. She welcomed all our shenanigans into her home and heart. And I knew Mark as well, he was full of life and enthusiasm for adventure. Condolences to the Wiebe family. - Posted by: Allison Pauls (Friend of family) on: May 11, 2022

  • Nellie & I met @ Springs Church 'Singles' group in Winnipeg in the '90's. We were good friends but lost touch in 2008 when I married and moved out of the area. I always appreciated willingness to help others, her sense of humor and ready smile or laugh. I'm sure she will be sorely missed. Many condolences to the family. - Posted by: Len Penner (friend) on: May 02, 2022
