Edward passed peacefully on April 20, 2022 with family by his side.
Survived by wife Sylvia; children, Laura (Robert) and Barry (Julia); five grandsons, Keenan, Kaleb, Kristjan, Benjamin and Oliver; sister Leonora (Lee) and nieces, Lainie (Morrie) and Corinda (Paul). Also survived by cousins Gary, (Marcie) and Yvonne (Paul).

Ed was very active in sports over the years, playing soccer, hockey and curling. He was a Hunter Safety Training Instructor at Splake Game and Fish. Ed was a member of the Amateur Winemakers of Manitoba, winning medals in national competitions. He was a proud member of the Manitoba Masonic Family for many years, most recently as a member of Phoenix Lodge #187. Ed will be remembered as a loyal friend who enjoyed a good debate and when he took on a job he saw it through to the end. Many wonderful memories.
Special thanks to Ed's family doctor and the staff in the ACCU at St Boniface Hospital for taking great care of him.
At Ed's request, there will be no service.
Donations in his memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation

My condolences go out to Sylvia and family for the loss of their loved one. My mum and dad were neighbours of Sylvia and Ed for many years on Thompson Drive. We had the privilege of getting to know them too. We send out our prayers and thoughts to all. - Posted by: Rae and Milton Jones (friend) on: Apr 30, 2022
