  • Garry and I met Barb when we became neighbors at Lee River about two years ago. Barb shared with me that she had cancer and I was amazed at her positive attitude. She was incredibly active with snowmobile, quad and boating activities with friends and neighbors. Our two grandchildren were treated to a day on their pontoon boat which was a really enjoyable treat for the kids. Rob and Barb had travelled quite a bit and enjoyed telling us about their good times. We were so blessed to visit with Barb about a month before she passed. Still positive, humorous and delightful. We are going to miss Barb and send Rob and their family our deepest condolences. - Posted by: Lynne Douglas (neighbor) on: May 02, 2022

  • Dear Barb, I’m sorry I never knew you were sick. I didn’t know you liked classic cars! Or Spending time at the lake. I’m deeply sorry we never kept in touch! I remember the rough and tough hockey player! The only gal that could zip around the net and score in the corner without the goal even having a chance! A great skater. A wonderful team player. We won MVP’s together at a Brandon tournament! Her for player of tourney me for goalie! It was the best weekend ever! We had to drive through a storm to get there! So many great memories of games, tournaments and four years in a row of being provincial champs! It was the time of our lives. To your family I send condolences. Janet, I hope I see you at Sobeys again so I can give you a hug. Thank you for the memories.💜💜 - Posted by: Lois Paley (Cook) (Team mate/friend) on: Apr 30, 2022
