CLARA MACDONALD
March 8, 1945 - April 30, 2022
Peacefully, with the strength and dignity that she lived her entire life, Clara left us to be with her husband Wallace, her parents, Andrew and Kate Thickfoot.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children, Lorraine (Ernest) and Phil (Melissa), grandchildren, Crystal, Lance, Lauren (Josh), Branden, Emma (Erik), Kate and Kimberly, granddaughter-in-law Sherry, great-grandchildren, Nolan, Cameron, Austin, Alyssa, Sadie, Sienna, Summer, Jordan and Koltyn. She is also survived by her siblings, Alex (Therese), William, Wilma (Stewart), nieces, nephews and many close friends.
She was predeceased by her siblings, Stanley (Evelyn), Lawrence, Mary Rose (William), Helen (Wallace), sister-in-law Lorraine, great-grandson Tristan and other loved ones who passed before her.
Family and friendships meant everything to Clara. She leaves a legacy of memories to be cherished.
Wake service to be held Tuesday, May 3 starting at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Anglican Church in Sagkeeng. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, May 4 at 2:00 p.m. also at the Church with interment to follow in the Church cemetery. Rev. Richard and Rev. Nancy Bruyere officiating.
The family would like to thank Renee, Jennifer, Salvadore and all the staff at Sunnywood Manor for the care and compassion shown to our mom.
