ADRIAAN VAN MIERLO
Adriaan, 62, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022, at his home near St. Eustache, Manitoba. Adriaan was born November 10, 1959, to Bill and Corrie van Mierlo in Winnipeg, Manitoba, the oldest of two children.
Adriaan met his wife, Judith Butterworth, in 1981. They were married in 1983 and enjoyed 39 years together.
Adriaan enjoyed a long career as a cabinet maker and can be described as a dedicated and committed family man. Over the years he spent countless hours on the road shuttling Devon to sporting events he participated in. More recently, Adriaan enjoyed spending as much time as he could with his grandson and took each opportunity to impart his grandfatherly wisdom on Nathaniel.
Adriaan is survived by his wife, Judi; son, Devon (Noraida) van Mierlo, grandchild, Nathaniel van Mierlo. Adriaan was predeceased in death by his parents, Bill and Corrie van Mierlo.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 6, 2022 at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home at 10:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Cemetery. Family ask those who will be attending to please wear a mask.
