JORDYN DANIELLE REIMER
July 7, 1997 – May 1, 2022
Suddenly and tragically our sweet Jordyn, at the age of 24, was taken from us far too early.
Left to forever cherish her memory is father Doug (Sherryl), mother Karen (Rob), sisters/best friends, Alex (Devyn), Nikki (Tyler) and Andi (Ethan), and boyfriend Tyson Cloet; grandparents, Don and Gail Reimer, grandmother Delia Kjartanson, numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Predeceased by grandpa Norman in 2003.
Jordyn was the buzz and energy of any event she was involved with. Friendship was very important to Jordyn and as a result, she had many whom she loved and they loved her back. She treasured her family and her bond with her sisters was like no other. Jordyn learned the passion for sports at a very young age. Beginning with ringette and soccer, very soon she took up hockey following her older sisters' lead. She excelled at hockey and it soon consumed winters and summers with many teams and many trips. She earned herself a scholarship at MacEwen University in Edmonton graduating with her Bachelor of Arts in 2021.
After her graduation Jordyn began her career with Manitoba Public Insurance in Brandon, Manitoba. She enjoyed her job and colleagues and formed new friendships. She found a new love for rec hockey through these new experiences and friendships.
A celebration of Jordyn's life will be held on Saturday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m., Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Avenue, reception to immediately follow the Celebration of Life.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jordyn's memory to a charity of your choice
Even though you left us way too early Jordyn, you will never truly be gone.
Wait for us. We will be together again, our sweet baby angel. All our love.

When my curtains were opened, every morning from Grade One to Grade 8, I saw the corner of Kildare and Bond St. and crossed there to walk to School. Now, we are sad to think that your Dear Daughter, Jordyn passed away there. We also had a young family member die in a car accident on Nairn. We know that Sadness can turn into Hope. We will see our loved ones again, happy and healthy on Earth forever. "God will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning, nor our cry, nor pain be anymore." (Revelation 21:3, 4) "The meek will possess the Earth, and they will find their exquisite delight in the abundance of peace" (Psalm 37:10 --12) You are all in our thoughts and prayers. Hold on to these sure promises and learn more. JW.ORG - Posted by: John & Cindy Ozuk (TRANSCONA -- Neighbours) on: Jan 16, 2023

Our hearts are heavy, the news was numbing, just difficult to comprehend. Please know how much we care, send our deepest condolences, and loads of love. As a hockey Mom, I was lucky enough to have the girls in our home a few times, where you get to meet and experience the girls off the ice, and for that I’m grateful. Jordyn’a presence never went unnoticed, her energy and zest for life couldn’t be denied. Jordyn leaves an imprint of positivity, kindness, relentless competitor, and all round awesome human and teammate💗 - Posted by: Tara Bender (Hockey Mom) on: May 05, 2022
