JORDAN (JORDY) TRAVIS PERRIER
April 26, 1993 - May 1, 2022
It is with immense sadness and heartache we announce the sudden passing of Jordan Perrier, at home with his mom by his side. Jordan was predeceased by his father Tim Perrier.
Left to cherish his memory are his children, Alexis (Ashley), Braxton (Julia), his mom Michelle, sister Devon (Jovan), nephews, Aiden and Jackson, niece Sophia who he loved to call Soph-a-Loaf, half sister Tegan, stepsisters, Naomi and Kenzie and his sister he chose with his own heart Cassandra, his grandparents, Louise and Gilles Jeanson, uncles, Andy (Chantal) and Raymond, amongst a large number of great-aunts and uncles, many cousins and lifelong friends.
Jordan had a larger than life personality and will be remembered for his infectious smile and his contagious laughter and the love he had for his family. He loved our family BBQs and always looked forward to the endless stories that would make us all burst into belly laughter. Football was his absolute favourite sport. Jordan spent a lot of his younger years playing for the St. Vital Mustangs. Just as much as Jordan loved to play, he loved to watch whether it was NFL Sunday watching the Raiders, heading to a Bomber game with his sister or some friends or cheering on his niece and nephew from the sidelines.
Jordan's whole world were his children. Alexis was daddy's girl and Alexis was her daddy's pride and joy. He always had a certain sparkle in his eye when he spoke about his time spent with her. You could often catch them joking around cuddled on the couch watching movies, out adventuring somewhere and more specifically in winter they would hit the ice with their skates. Jordan loved his hugs from Braxton. He could often be found tossing around a football with him or watching dirt bike videos prepping his boy for when he got one.
Jordan saw the best in everyone else but struggled to see it in himself. But everyone around him saw it, he was looked up to by many. They say not all heroes wear capes and Jordan was proof of that. Like a true warrior, every time he fell, he got back up and tried again.
We would like to thank the dedicated and knowledgeable staff at Bruce Oake Recovery Centre for taking care of our Jordan, and giving us extra time with the Jordan we knew was always in there.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, May 25, 2022 at Desjardins Funeral Home 357 DesMeurons St.
This isn't goodbye, it's simply see you later.
Love you forever and always.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bruce Oake Recovery Centre in Jordan's name: Bruce Oake Recovery Centre, 255 Hamilton Avenue, Winnipeg, MB R2Y 2C3.
