PATRICIA ANNE HART
(nee HARWOOD)

Patricia Anne (nee Harwood) passed away peacefully on May 28, 2022 after a lengthy battle with Alzheimers.
Patricia was born on December 28, 1931 in Winnipeg, to Hilda and Albert Harwood. She went to Hugh John McDonald School and Daniel McIntyre Collegiate.
She married Ronald Hart on May 6, 1952. They had two daughters, Susan and Cynthia. She worked at a number of jobs including Maple Leaf Foods, and the Manitoba Institute of Management.
Pat had a variety of interests, but her passion was roller skating. She spent many hours at the Winnipeg Roller Rink, and was involved in many professional performances they put on. Pat was a Girl Guide Leader for a number of years. She also helped out with the International Order of Job's Daughters. She was involved with Ron's interests in the Masons, and was a great hostess as he became Master of his Lodge, and Grand Master of Manitoba. She also enjoyed a few seasons of Goldeyes baseball with her daughter Susan.
She and Ron made their way south as snowbirds every winter, and spent many happy seasons at their trailer park in Mission, Texas. After Ron passed away in 2009, Patricia was already showing signs of Alzheimers, and she moved into Riverwood Square in Winnipeg. As her condition deteriorated, Pat moved into Harmony Court at Riverwood Square, which gave her a sense of continuity, and seeing familiar faces. It was finally determined that she needed further care, and Pat moved into Riverview Nursing Home in September of 2021, where she spent her final months.
Patricia was predeceased by her mother Hilda, father Albert, brother George, and her husband Ronald. She is survived by her daughter Susan, her husband Brien Kulbaba, and their children, Ainsley, Mason, and Virginia (Dustin Peter); and her daughter Cynthia, her husband Cameron Doroshuk, and their children, James, Deborah (Scott McBride), Peter (Katy Prost), and Luke, and her first great-grandchild Zoe McBride.
A private family service will be held by invitation. Anyone wishing to attend virtually, please contact Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
