Doris has finally re-united with the true love of her life - Bill. He missed her and it was time! Doris was such a sweet gentle lady with always a kind word. The love they had for each other was undeniably the greatest of real life love stories. I miss you both and all the chats, laughs and chocolate bars. May you rest in peace, Doris. - Posted by: Sheila Selluski (friend) on: Jun 19, 2022
So sad to see that Doris passed away. 99 years, amazing. Our family lived across from the Barr family in Niakwa Park and there was never a dull moment. Talk about hospitality. These were good days, growing up with Bill and Doris's children ( and hunting dogs). Later years saw Bill living at the same place my mother did, Dakota House. I had the luck to see Mr. Barr often and he often would excuse himself as he drove down the street to visit his wife daily. He has the best sense of humor , and I think that may be one of the reasons Doris lived to 99. To the Barr family please know you are all in our thoughts...we loved your mom too. - Posted by: Laurie Gyde (Neighbor) on: Jun 18, 2022
