LYNDA ANNE HARDING
February 10, 1950 - June 2, 2022
Lynda was the eldest child and much-loved daughter of Kathleen Marguerite (Riley) deceased 2007 and Arthur Byde Harding deceased 2002. She was the caring sister to her twin brothers Robert (Bobby) John deceased 1952 and William (Bill) Arthur deceased 2008, and to Gerald (Jerry) Franklin Harding of the U.S.A. Proud aunt to Jerry's daughters, Jade and Jasmine.
Born in Winnipeg, Lynda was raised in the family home in St. James, living there until she moved to Pulford in 2000. The family's dogs through the years were an important part of her life and she was interested in every dog she saw. Lynda attended schools in St. James. In 2013, she was pleased to attend the reunion for the 100th anniversary of Linwood School where she and both her parents had been students.
Lynda liked to talk about the many happy automobile trips with her family, travelling across Canada, the U.S.A. and camping locally. Since moving to Pulford, she was able to continue her love of travel with trips to Disney World, Hawaii, Toronto and Niagara Falls and to several places in Manitoba, especially summer holidays at a cottage on Lake Winnipeg.
Through her life, Lynda participated in Special Olympics Bowling Leagues and was very proud of the many medals and trophies she was awarded. Her concentration when preparing to bowl was amazing to watch. Lynda's face would light up at the suggestion of going to a restaurant or out for coffee. She had her favourite places and was happy to suggest them to those arranging the outing.
Always a lover of flowers, Lynda might remind those who would send her flowers that Christmas, Easter or her Birthday was approaching. She was always quick to phone with a thank you for the flowers and say how beautiful they were.
Lynda will be missed by her Pulford Community Living Services family, who through the past 22 years were her many housemates and staff. She would want to thank all of them for their friendship and care. Also, she would want to thank everyone from the Palliative Care Program, Taché Avenue, for their care during recent months which made it possible for her to remain in her home.
A graveside service for Lynda at the family plot will be held on Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 11:30 a.m., Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 4000 Portage Ave. Please meet at the Funeral Home.
Donations would be appreciated in Lynda's memory to Pulford Community Living Services, 1146 Waverley St. Unit 5, Winnipeg, MB. R3T 0P4 (204) 284 -2255.

Lynda was such a wonderful lady, and I had the honour of supporting and caring for her for the last year and a half. Lynda was very sharp and always knew what was happening around her. She always made sure I was attending my classes at university, and that I’d be back the next day to take her to the bank or out for a coffee. Lynda was more than someone I supported, I loved her dearly. I woke up every morning looking forward to seeing her. I am so grateful for the time we had together and I will cherish the memories we made for as long as I am here. I love you Lynda, and I miss you more and more each day. - Posted by: Annika M (Caregiver and Friend) on: Jun 18, 2022
