Condolences & Memories (5 entries)

  • We don’t know each other & we didn’t know your dad, but after reading your dad’s obituary, I was charmed by the way you expressed yourselves. It’s a wonderful tribute done with a loving sense of humour. The last lines made me grin because I know that so many of us can relate to that. Sincere condolences. - Posted by: Marie Sedor (Stranger) on: Jul 03, 2022

  • Jerome, Julie and dear Joelle and families, as our kids said, your Dad was larger than life! He will be truly missed by so many in the community of Fannystelle and in his city community. The door was always open at the Arnal house! Always there to lend a hand, always involved, his hard working generation is fading away. But we know he and your Mom instilled these qualities in all of you! His work is done here now and he can rest with your Mama! Sending our love, hugs and prayers to you! We love and miss you! Rick and Marta and family xoxo - Posted by: Rick and Marta Piche' (Fannystelle) on: Jul 01, 2022

  • We will miss his smile and stories as we would chat in the hallway or in the dining room. He was such an enthusiastic participant for the evening fitness class using the weights. He was proud of his accomplishments since he moved here. Sincere condolences to the family. - Posted by: Roberta and Walter Good (Neighbors at the Courtyard ) on: Jun 30, 2022

  • Sunday was a very sad day when I heard that my friend Dick had passed away. We were looking forward to having him out for a visit this summer. I first met him at the local post office a few months after I moved out in the country and he took some time to chat with me and introduce me to everyone that came to the post office while we were chatting. It didn't take long for us to become friends and while they were still living on the farm there were quite a few Saturday burger nights at the Arnal's, fun times! If I ever needed a hand with something Dick was always willing to help. I will miss my friend, but am also happy that he is back with his lovely wife, Claire, he missed her so much (and Ginger the farm cat!). My condolences to the Arnal family, Dick meant a lot to us and we enjoyed our time with him and Claire. - Posted by: Gil Robinson (Friend) on: Jun 29, 2022

  • My parents moved into "The Courtyards" a few weeks ago. The first people to greet us as we moved our parents' belongings in were the Arnals. Dick took every opportunity to stop and speak with my parents, ask them about their farm and make them feel welcome. My Mom was especially thankful for the kindness of your family. Even though she only just met Dick, she was very sad to hear of his passing. Even though I only met him briefly, I thought that if one person could make such a big impression and make such a difference to others in a short period of time, what a blessing he will have been to so many people throughout his life. A very special person indeed. He will be missed by his friends, old and new, and his family, I am sure. Our family offers condolences to your family. - Posted by: Lisa Bunkowsky (New Friend) on: Jun 29, 2022
