MAISIE KATHLYN HILDEBRAND
(nee DUECK)
February 27, 1930 - June 26, 2022

Maisie was born in Steinbach, MB, on February 27, 1930. She passed away on Sunday, June 26, 2022, at the age of 92 at the St. Boniface Hospital in Winnipeg, MB.
She will be dearly missed by her children: Kathleen Ann Hildebrand, Barbara Louise Friesen and her husband John, Joanne Elizabeth Roberts Thorold and her husband Randy, and (Jack) John Stuart Hildebrand and his wife Georgia.
She had close and loving relationships with her grandchildren: Richard Friesen and his children: Preston and Skyla; Alexandra Friesen Koop, her spouse Jethro and their children: Tatum, Ethan, Liam and Auriel; Karen Roberts; Theo Roberts, and Addison Roberts. She also accepted as her own Georgia's children: Kaitlyn, Brett, and Sheldon. She was excited when Jack and Georgia became grandparents to Kaitlyn's son and daughter.
Prior to her marriage she was baptized at the Prairie Rose Evangelical Mennonite Church (EMC). On June 4, 1950, she married our father Harold Hildebrand at the same church. She never waivered in her beliefs and dedication to God.
She was predeceased by our father Harold on December 2, 1986, by her parents, Frank and Mathilda Dueck and by her second parents, Peter and Louise Kroeker as well as most of her siblings.
She is survived by one brother Frank Dueck and one sister Elvira Kroeker as well as other dear friends and relatives.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 2, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Birchwood Funeral Chapel, 162 PTH 52W, Steinbach, MB. Please visit Maisie's obituary at www.birchwoodfuneralchapel.com to join the family via livestream.
Following a light lunch, the family will proceed to Prairie Rose EMC Church in Landmark, MB, for the interment.
