JOHN WILLIAM HOADLEY
January 13, 1965 - June 27, 2022

It is with great sorrow that the family announces the passing of John William Hoadley on Monday, June 27, 2022 at Seven Oaks General Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
John was a beloved son, father, brother, uncle and friend to many. John will be lovingly remembered by his daughters, Alyssa (Scott) and Adriana. Also mourning his loss are his mother Mary, sister Samantha and niece Sara. John was predeceased by his father John, his brother Andrew, and foster grandparents Ottilia and Joseph Bruhlman.
John was born to John and Mary Hoadley (Scott) in the winter of 1965 in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Growing up, John spent many happy times in Gladstone with his foster grandparents whom he looked up to. John graduated from John Taylor Collegiate and began his working career at McDonalds. He progressed to management very quickly but decided to change his career path and started his apprenticeship in bricklaying. In 2014, he founded Onestone Constructors Inc. where he expanded his work to include commercial and residential construction, restorations and renovations. He took care and pride in each of his projects.
His greatest joys were his daughters of whom he was very proud of. John was a strong, kind and loving father. He was his daughters' biggest supporter and cheered them on at soccer games and gymnastics competitions. He loved listening to them play at their piano recitals.
In his free time, John enjoyed travelling where he made many lifelong friendships across the world. John was always helping others, whether it be by doing a construction project, providing advice or just being a friend. He touched the lives of all those he crossed paths with. John will be missed for his contagious laugh and sense of humour.
A special thanks to the healthcare professionals at Victoria General Hospital CancerCare, Seven Oaks General Hospital and all the friends and family that supported him along his battle.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Neil Bardal Funeral Centre, 3030 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, 3001 Notre Dame Ave., Winnipeg, Manitoba.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made on behalf of the family to CancerCare Manitoba.
