ANNE LEE
(nee RABSKI)

December 27, 1931 - June 27, 2022

It is with deep sorrow and much love we announce the passing of our beloved wife, mom, grandma, sister, aunty and friend on June 27, 2020 at the age of 90 at the Health Sciences Centre (HSC) Women's Hospital.
Anne is survived by her husband of 66 years, Bill; son Tom (Tracy); daughters, Linda Berscheid (Greg), Susan Lee (Merle Block) and Colleen Lee (Derek Murray) in addition to her grandchildren, Jason Lee, Michelle Lee (Brad Wieder), Evan Murray and Christopher Murray.
Anne spent her career at Lee Denture Clinic as the business' office and financial manager. She was dedicated to the family business and enjoyed working aside her husband, son and grandson Jason. In March 2020, after 47 years of service she announced her retirement. Anne and Bill were a 24/7 team working together on all their business endeavors. She managed the financial operations of their many business interests and contributed to decisions even during her last days.
"Our mom grew up in Poplarfield, Manitoba and moved to Winnipeg to finish high school. As a family, we spent many weekends at the family farm tending to yard and farm chores, to bonfires and fireworks at night. She was a dedicated member of St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in many capacities and church was an integral part of her life. Travelling and seeing the world was also an interest from camping, road trips and winter beach vacations with us as a family to cruising the world with Dad and their friends. She enjoyed gardening and left her flowers and vegetable garden in Dad's care with detailed instructions. She loved her family, being the happiest when surrounded by them from hosting family gatherings throughout the year to Christmas Eve dinner or the "What's New" phone call. The pandemic did not interrupt her ability to connect with us as we had weekly gatherings online and she was up to the challenge of learning the technology. Mom's greatest joy was her children and grandchildren, and they will miss her dearly."
Thank you to Dr. P. G. Mehta, Family Physician for his care of Anne over the years. We would like to extend heartfelt and sincere thanks to Dr. Dean, the team at CancerCare Manitoba, and the exceptional staff at WN5 at the HSC Women's Hospital. Anne commented that the staff were so professional and efficient from nursing staff, x-ray technicians, health care aids to housekeeping services.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to CancerCare Manitoba or Health Science Centre Foundation in honour of Anne.
Funeral service to be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, at Thomson "In the Park" Funeral Home, 1291 McGillivray Boulevard with internment and lunch to follow. For those who wish to attend virtually please follow this link:https://youtu.be/DwAnpqVnCBA
